The Librarian also drops The Complete Catalogue, which applies 3x Burn when your heroes Crit. If you're in Act 1 or 5, this trinket is particularly useful because the final bosses will have minions with them. This Trinket is perfect on a high speed hero that is capable of one-shotting an enemy at the beginning of the turn like the Highwayman with Point-Blank Shot, or the Hellion with Howling End. In addition, it gives a Strength buff if the Hero acts first in a round. The Smoldering Hymnal has a 20% chance to give a bonus turn if the equipped Hero gets a kill. Otherwise, one of the biggest reasons you'll want to head into the Sprawl to defeat the Librarian for a chance at the Smoldering Hymnal, or The Complete Catalogue. Head into the Sprawl if you need Trinkets that buff Burn damage, Trinkets that add/upgrade Dodge, or Trinkets that reward extremely high speeds (8 or more speed).
